Camera

Camera Serial Number:
Camera Serial Number is indicated on a stick located on a side of the SMX Camera. If a stick is absent do the following:
  • Connect your SMX Camera to your PC
  • Start the SMX Camera application
  • On the Device menu choose Settings. Device settings window will be displayed
  • Camera Serial Number is displayed next to "Device ID" text
 
Camera Driver Version:
  • Connect the SMX-150 Camera to your PC
  • Right click My Computer > Properties > Hardware > Device Manager
  • In the Imaging Devices section find the SMX-150 Series USB2.0 Camera device and double click it
  • In the SMX-150 Series USB2.0 Camera Properties window open the Driver tab page
  • Find the Driver Version field
If your camera can not be installed another way to find the Driver Version is:
  • Start Windows Notepad text editor
  • Open the SMX150A.inf file (located in the Drivers folder on the SMX-150 Camera CD)
  • In the second line of this file Driver Version should be indicated as:
    DriverVer=05/11/2004,1.36.0511.1804
 
Camera Application Version:
  • Start the SMX-150 Camera application.
  • On the Help menu choose About
  • Camera Application version will displayed in the About Box.
 

Operating System

Full OS version (Help):
  • Click Start > Run
  • In the Run dialog box type "cmd" and press Enter
  • In the Windows XP or 2000 command prompt type "ver" and press Enter
  • The full Windows version will be printed out
 
If SP installed, version of SP:
  • Right click My Computer > Properties
  • In the General tab find Service Pack information in the System section
